In 1890 “Fumagalli & Pianca” were joined with another ‘stump’ the historical silk weaving company of G.Fumagalli.

A year earlier, in 1890 “Fumagalli & Pianca” were joined with another ‘stump’ the historical silk weaving company of Germano Fumagalli. In those far off days only hand looms were used to weave. Three generations later ‘Fumagalli’ are using those same looms.

Constant researches from the historic Fumagalli’s textile archive lead to designs swimming from past to future ones. This is time we went back to the way that brought Fumagalli to patent a unique yarn and then ending in the 50’s: “THE GOLD TWILL”.
