With its rich and exciting history, rugby is one of the most popular (and most physical) sports in the world.
The game of rugby, like American football, originally comes from football. His popular roots are to be attributed to a student of the Rugby School, an independent school in England. On November 1, 1823, during a football match, William Web Ellis, caught by a great rush of enthusiasm while playing football, began to run towards the goal of the opposing team but holding the ball in his arms, ignoring the basic rule of football "no hands". From that first step Rugby spread in high schools and universities in England, so much so that the need arose to codify the rules.
In the following years rugby came out of schools and the first professional clubs were founded. The new discipline also managed to overcome the English borders and spread to Wales, Scotland and Ireland. Rugby became an autonomous sport with the founding of the "International Rygby Board" in 1866.
The first international rugby match was played two months later, on 25 March 1971, between England and Scotland, with Scotland emerging as winners.
In 1883 he began the annual Home Nations Championship, which included the national teams of England, Scotland, Wales and Ireland. In 1910 the competition expanded to include France and was renamed the Five Nations. In 2000, Italy gained admission to the tournament, now known as the Six Nations.
With the beginning of the 900 the oval ball also migrates under the equator to countries such as New Zealand, South Africa and Australia, countries whose players will become real icons of the sport.
Each year, Rugby Sevens tournaments are hosted by the same cities, including Las Vegas, Dubai and Hong Kong.

The design of this scarf tries to evoke the emotions of this sport, tell its history and its evolution. The setting is linked to modern sport, evoking the 1950s, as in the entire second series of sport. This scarf is made with a particular wool, with hand-rolled edges and a manual fringe of 1 cm.
